Of course, there are lots of ways to save more money on energy bills – you could search for the best energy supplier rates, install insulation or simply make an effort to switch off lights in unused rooms. Norway is looking to lead the way in the search for ways to make offshore wind farms more profitable with their plan for the world’s biggest offshore wind turbine, standing at an impressive 533 feet tall with a 475 foot rotor diameter. The massive turbine can generate 10 megawatts, enough to power 2000 homes, which is around 3 times more than current turbines are capable of.
